Its taken longer than expected but CircuitWiz for the iPad has finally been released in the app store.  There are 2 versions.
CircuitWiz Lite which is free and has sufficient symbols to draw simple schematics and evaluate the app.
CircuitWiz Pro is a paid app and has over 130 symbols for creating professional quality schematics.

Some of the features in the iPad version include.

SYMBOL ROTATION AND LABELS - in the past these two features have been separate, on the ipad rotating will be as easy as pinching the symbol and rotating, in addition you can add a label that will be attached to the symbol and remain upright no matter which way you rotate the symbol.

SEARCHING FOR SYMBOLS - we now have the ability to search for symbols. For example you can type in "contact" and have a list of all the contacts available appear along with their details. This is really handy in the Pro version where the number of symbols exceeds 130! For a list of included symbols click here

The iPad is so user friendly and made for CircuitWiz. Ditching the mouse and using the touch screen makes the whole process very intuitive.  We are sure you will find it worth the wait.
